Félix Godefroid International Competition 2022: results of the “Espoir” category

The results of the youngest category, “Espoir”, at the Félix Godefroid International Competition are as follows:
First Prize: Kornélia Harmath (Hungary)
Second Prize: Anna Bilalova (Latvia)
Third Prize: Sofie Havrankova (Czech Republic)
Congratulations to them all!
As with the most senior “Soliste” category, “Espoir” candidates had the chance to perform a contemporary set work in the presence of the composer. This was Vincent Ghadimi’s Danse des Antilopes, from his “Zoo” collection of pieces!
The final of the senior competition is due to start in just over an hour. The Camac team (several of whom remember only too well what it like to be on the competition stage) are rooting for all the finalists – and will report back with the results as soon as they are out!
